Awareness is one of the most important components for developing a strong corporate culture of sustainability. To implement a successful carbon and energy management program, training staff at both the senior and staff levels can be a critical management initiative.

ClearCarbon offers a variety of training programs that convey carbon management information to key executives and staff. We have performed a number of management trainings, from “Carbon 101” to high-level “Situation Assessments.” A “Situation Assessment” is a comprehensive overview of key trends, regulatory analysis, benchmarking, and recommendations for specific corporate carbon management strategies. We have also offered interactive workshops for corporate operations, sustainability, and energy managers to find product innovations for carbon reductions.

To train staff, ClearCarbon has successfully engaged corporate employees in a variety of ways. Through working with corporate “green teams” and other operations groups, we have focused on conveying knowledge that empowers employees by directly addressing how their roles affect the company’s carbon footprint. By relating specific actions to carbon and energy reductions, we’ve helped employees gain a clear understanding of their impacts on the workplace. We have also provided ideas and tips that employees can take home to share with their family and friends, to expand the impact they have on their carbon footprints outside the workplace.

Finally, we offer free monthly webinars for anyone interested in learning more about carbon footprinting, carbon management, legislative and regulatory issues, and more.
