Austin Lee leverages his system engineering and database consulting experience to assist in the management and analysis of energy and climate data. His expertise includes system modeling, server administration, cloud computing, data integration, web design and database management.

Before joining Clear Carbon, Austin supported multiple US Government Agencies as a consultant, where he modeled proposed systems and led the development of web applications that combined large federal databases with the latest geospatial web technologies.

Austin graduated from the University of Virginia, where he studied aerospace engineering with a minor in Engineering Business. While at the University of Virginia, he authored an engineering thesis on the effect of wake turbulence between airplanes. Austin grew up in Phoenix, AZ and currently lives in Arlington, VA.

An interesting fact about Austin

Austin supported the NASA office responsible for developing the Crew Exploration Vehicle (CEV) which NASA will use to return astronauts to the moon.
