Anna Nicholson

Senior Greenhouse Gas Analyst

Experience

Anna Nicholson is an environmental specialist with considerable experience in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methods and supply chain analysis. She works with clients to develop corporate emissions inventories, product life-cycle carbon footprints, and environmental policies and strategies.

Before joining ClearCarbon, Anna received her S.M.’s from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, focusing on sustainable energy policy and engineering and conducted thesis research on effects of uncertainty in LCA methods. After graduate school, she worked for BioIntelligence Consulting Services, Inc. in Paris, France, working to extend the 2005 European Union EcoDesign Directive to energy-related products. Prior to graduate school, Anna worked as a supply chain analyst for Coca-Cola Enterprises, where she performed financial modeling and risk analysis to support strategic options for distribution networks.

Currently, Ms. Nicholson is working with various multi-national clients in the manufacturing and food sectors, including Walmart, Darden Restaurants, and a large bottled water company. She is investigating supply chain carbon efficiencies and working with several clients on product footprint analyses.
