Experience

Andrew leads Energy Management and Energy Efficiency services for ClearCarbon. He is responsible for all aspects the service this includes the development of client specific programs, setting goals, establishing standards for delivery and service, communicating program details across organizations, identifying, engaging and managing consulting partners to ensure delivery of service, and reporting of results.

Andrew was formerly Director Global Energy at Owens Corning, responsible for all elements of energy procurement, energy efficiency and demand management across facilities in Europe and North America. During his tenure Andrew designed and implemented a corporate energy management program which earned “Benchmark” recognition from the “Alliance to Save Energy”, and a “Cool Company” designation from the Packard Foundation.

In 2004 Andrew formed a successful energy consulting practice based which focused on developing strategic energy management solutions for industrial and commercial clients, with particular emphasis on renewable energy technologies. Andrew developed a client base in both the public and private sector and client projects included leadership of a DOE sponsored “Industries of the Future” program, feasibility and design of a 5MW renewable energy CHP facility, and the renewable energy and environmental strategy development for a planned multi billion dollar leisure and retail project.

In 2006 Andrew founded NorthEast Biogas, a renewable energy development company, to focus on the emerging markets for alternative energy, emission reductions and organic waste solutions. NorthEast Biogas is currently developing a project portfolio which is expected to produce more than 50million kW hours renewable electricity and more than 60,000 tons CO2e emissions reductions annually. NorthEast Biogas has performed several consulting engagements on behalf of ClearCarbon in the Ag.-Waste sector to help clients understand the GHG impact of farming operations and has been actively involved in the assessment and identification of mitigation solutions.

Andrew lives in Upstate New York with his wife and four children. He is a licensed US National soccer coach and a keen supporter of the local ballet and theater productions.
